Who’s That Girl?

Who’s That Girl is a 1987 movie, released on August 7 of that year by Warner Brothers, and one of the most unappreciated movies made by Madonna. She’s at her best with this one and it’s the best Madonna movie from the 80’s. It’s been one of my favorite comedy movies for years and I’ve lost count on how many times I’ve watched it.
Madonna plays a spunky parole named Nikki Finn, who has just been released from prison and hell bent on using her freedom to prove she is innocent. Madonna should have received an Oscar for her performance as the Judy Holiday-type character. A brilliant performance, in my humble opinion.
