Liar, Liar

Fletcher Reed is a lawyer and divorced father who tends to put his career first. He’s also a pathalogical liar, who simply cannot tell the truth…to his son or his ex-wife. But, things change when his son Max wishes his Dad would have to tell the truth for just one day. To everyone’s surprise, including Fletcher’s…Max’s wish comes true. The fun begins when Fletcher represents a female client in a nasty divorce case. She’s willing to commit perjury to win the case, and Fletcher can’t even ask a question…knowing it’s a lie.
Hilarious performance by Carrey! Because of his work on this film, Carrey was nominated for a Golden Globe Award (1998) for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Comedy/Musical.
