Great Expectations

Young Finn falls deeply in love with a girl named Estella, who quickly becomes his inspiration to pursue his skills in art. Over the years, Estella becomes Finn’s obsession, only to lose track of her after she moves to New York. Now a young man, Finn gets the opportunity to show his artwork in New York, because of a kind and mysterious benefactor. When he arrives, he is united with Estella, who agrees to model for him. Will what ensues may cause Finn to realize his wildly romantic dreams…or his worst fears.
Although billed as “co-stars”, both De Niro and Bancroft are absolutely superb in this movie, and their parts are so imiportant to the overall plot of the film. I highly recommend this movie!
